What you walk away with

A deployed full-stack web app with a real database, hosted on a public URL.

45-day plan

Structured phases, each with a specific outcome. The final phase is always a real, shipped piece of work.

Phase 1 · Day 1–10

Foundations

Web literacy + modern JavaScript

  • HTML5 semantics, accessibility basics, and the document model
  • Modern CSS: flexbox, grid, custom properties, Tailwind essentials
  • JavaScript fundamentals: types, scope, closures, async/await
  • Git, GitHub, and a clean commit workflow

Phase 2 · Day 11–22

Core

React apps that hold real state

  • React: components, props, hooks, and rendering rules
  • State management patterns and lifting state
  • Forms, validation, and client-side routing
  • Fetching data, handling loading and error states properly

Phase 3 · Day 23–34

Specialisation

A real backend, behind a real API

  • Node.js and Express: routing, middleware, error handling
  • MongoDB and Mongoose: schemas, queries, indexes
  • Firebase essentials: Auth, Firestore, and security rules
  • REST API design, JWT auth, validation, and security fundamentals

Phase 4 · Day 35–45

Live Project

A deployed full-stack app

  • Scope a real product brief: data model, routes, and screens
  • Build, review, and iterate with mentors
  • Deploy frontend and backend to a public URL
  • Final demo + a written architecture note
